I'm starting to see manuals and information get a bit harder to find lately. Because of this, I am setting up a little small website to keep track of all OEM manuals, service manuals, tips, tricks, color codes, etc... Anything an owner might want that can be kept in a central location to make things easier. I first started gathering it for myself, but now I think other people may find it helpful. A lot of it is from these forums.

If you have any writeups you think might be a good addition, or PDFs of installs, anything else you think is helpful. Let me know. I'd love to credit you on the site. Anything to help other S2K owners.

There are no banner ads, popups, popunders... or anything to monetize this. I am covering the costs for everything.

Definitely want to add some more service or repair manuals if I can, but might be some copyright issues there.

Among other things, also want to add a writeup on spring spacer issues in s2000s, since I know a lot of owners are still finding them on their springs. Seems to be important to mention as it's such a ****up on the dealership's parts.

There is a thread of things for new owners to do and to check. Maybe include a bunch of that sort of content.

Another thing. Some common issues are only to be found in pages long threads with the useful content buried and sprinkled amongst countless posts of 'noise'. You end up havimg to spend hours wading through page after page to get the needed info. One example that comes to mind is the thread on axle nut retorque. That thread is dozens and dozens of pages long. To find the info you need to know, how to unstake, how to loosen, tools needed, tricks for stubborn nuts, how to properly lube fastener, initial torque spec, how to get around if your torque wrench won't go that high, then how many degrees farther than that to turn for final tighten, tips for how to measure that, then final staking, well you have to read all posts in all pages to get all that info.

All the meat could fit on a single page, but you have to get through all the find to find it all. Then there is the fear that maybe the initial content is out of date, and maybe in a later post somewhere is newer info. Liie maybe the initial torque spec was found to be too low. You can't be sure if no one bothered to update the info on page 1 with the newer understanding on page 21, unless you read through all pages.

So it would be just so amazingly awesome if, instead of the communities collective widom on a diy's best practices being in the form of a history of everyone's opinions in a long list of posts, it wouod instead be more like a wiki. Wouod still capture communities input, but be more concise (unlike this rambling post).

So, maybe you could work on taking diys like that and distilling them down to 5eir essentials, then allowimg members to submit edits for improvements...

Thanks everyone. I just updated it a bunch with improved color code page with a table, and a few other things. Adding all the recalls on there too. I'll continue on it later this week.

I do like that idea, I just think for now I need to be the one to curate it.
Setting up a wiki is a nice idea for the future. But for now I just want to create a singular place to gather everything that's already out there. Like a quick one stop shop if you need your color code, or you need to know where to jack the car, or what size tires the car has. Wiki software seems almost too cumbersome. Hence the super minimal layout. Less clicks, less steps, less bullshit.

If you can think of something, send it my way. Stock material, brochures, any tips about the car in threads, OEM install guides, whatever.
