I'm new to tracking, with only 3 events under my belt. I'm on Bridgestone RE-11 tires. During the first 2 days, I don't feel like I was really pushing the car hard. I didn't notice anything odd with my tires. During this last event, I was feeling much more comfortable on track and was pushing the car pretty hard. I just pulled the wheels off and found that my tires look like this. The picture is of the worst spot, but that particular tire looks similar all the way around. The track was mostly right turns, and this was the left front. The right front has a couple spots like that, but not nearly as bad. The "hole" is where a stone was embedded in the tire.

Yep that's fine. As long as you don't see any chunking, delamination, or cords your are good. What you are seeing there is just where the rubber melted and hardened again. Might not even be from your tires o.O

Thanks! I was getting worried because I have another event coming up next weekend, and these tires apparently aren't even available any more.
I would be a little concerned. It appears you only have it in the middle, it should look that way across the tire. What pressure are you running? Going by the old school chalk method, based off the wear line on the tread and the triangle indicator, you may be running too high of pressures.

I was running 32 cold. After a cool down lap, they were at 34-35. Not sure how much it drops during a cool down lap. To get hot pressures, are you guys running hard until you pull into the pits with no cool down?

You really need someone on pit lane for the most accurate readings.
Your tires are fine. As others have said, you just picked up some slag and on the ride home your tires didnt get hot enough to remove that.
