That is what I am using, but I also am using support rods in the front, which I recommend. My splitter also goes 10" past the bumper, so I also have it tied to the sway bar.
I am going to be designing some quick disconnect brackets that utilize the devsport brackets in the next 1-2 weeks. I don't like having to take off my front bumper and brake ducts just to get my splitter off.

Yea, just make sure they're stainless so they won't rust. I have cheapo $10 ones off eBay and they haven't let me down. I would recommend doing one on each side by the fenders and two on the edges of the radiator grill.
It will work with just the brackets, but the fit is much better once you add the rods.

Could I do this with no additional support? I have an AP1 bumper with no lip if that helps.

With a carbon blade that would probably work by themselves. I ran those with 1/2 plywood that had a piece of 1" angle Al across the middle for stiffness and it worked fine. The only thing I would maybe worry about is crushing the foam core of the splitter when tightening the thru-holes hardware. Some sort of metal sleeve insert might be required to do it right.

Well here it is. Turned out just as I wanted. I have a few tweaks to make it look perfect, but it fit spot on. How it works is it is bolted to the Devsport bracket, then it holds all of the nuts captive onto the bracket. This allows you to remove/install the splitter from underneath the car without having to have a wrench to hold the top nuts from spinning on you.
The two screws that will hold it on here are not shown, but I'll get them added soon. Some clearance holes will need to be added to the splitter for these screws, but that's easily done.
