WeWork bans meat - Business Insider
WeWork is going vegetarian.
In an email to about 6,000 employees on Friday, the $20 billion office rental company announced that it will no longer reimburse employees for meals that include red meat, poultry, or pork and will stop serving meat at company events.
I mean WTF????
I'm guessing the company anthem isn't Jimmy Buffett's Cheeseburger in Paradise.

What if somebody is allergic to veggies? That’s discrimination. Where’s the beef?

Went to University of California Davis. (Back when the student population was only 16K!) Big food science place as well as engineering ( Went into Naval Aviation) and of course world famous for viticulture and enology. This is where I learned to brew beer the correct way! The first dorm I lived in had a bunch of food science majors. One of the labs had the students picking out any kind of meat from any local store they wanted. They analyzed it, burned it to a crisp and using a mass spectrometer they analyzed everything that was given off. Finally the ash was analyzed.
Every one of them became a vegetarian. Circa 1970s. I became one too until I joined the Navy!
