Default CT SC w/AC belt slip above 7000 rpm

This problem has happened before and each time I have the belt replaced. I was wondering if it is possible just to tighten the tensioner a little to see if the squeal goes away? I have tried to find a video/how to fir tightening the tensioner, but have been unsuccessful. Does anyone have a link to a hiw to?

Sell this car immediately, to me, before anything goes wrong. :P

Try these steps in this exact order:
1) Gates RPM belt
2) Leverage. So have someone put a good amount of tension on the tensioner with a crowbar while you tighten that bolt
- You got a 3.4" pulley and bellow I'm guessing, now you and your Novi blower pays the price. Ask me how I know.

Thank you. I did not do the install so I am not sure which bolt you are speaking of. Is there a picture or instructions as to which bolt is being mentioned?

Ap1chief recommended a dayco belt that was much better than the gatorback. I was having alot of slip issues before I changed.

Theres also a Gates Rpm belt that I heard is very good with little stretch.

I used all kinds of different belts. The Gates green stripe belts worked the best for me
when Inran a 3.0” pulley.
