Default Normal?

So i am going to travel 3 hours to buy a 2003 w/ 14k miles. I know no one has x-ray vision but does anyone see any red flags? It's a two owner car with carfax to prove. Some of the stuff to me looks oxidized--he states it has been in a heated garage and the body looks as if it has. Also, If you zoom, there is red on bolts that i am wondering if should not be. I am consulting you all to tell me if these are normal findings.

Seems oxidized to me

Is that red normal?

Is that red normal?

Based on the corrosion on the VTEC solonoid valve, inspect the underside of the car for any heavy corrosion.

Being new to this, i guess other than the obvious, does anyone have photos of a car with heavy corrosion? any comment on those red bolts or screws?

Thanks

I mean the brake fuild looks like it may be getting close to a change but that is a pretty damn clean AP1 engine bay. Still not a bad idea to check the underside of the car for heavy rust (rear wheel wells are another good place to look as there should be little to no rust there). I would sort of expect the valve cover or other parts to show worse wear if there was signs of really bad corrosion on the car though. I am not sure about the red bolts. I think sometimes there is paint or making on them from the factory but can't speak to the ones pictured.

Yes the red paint on the bolt heads is from the factory.

we actually ended up getting the car. 12.5k miles for 23.500. Overall it’s good but I think it sat for 2 year before it was bought.
