SOLD- MY05 Moonrock GT, 35k miles, excellent condition

SOLD - Very reluctantly I have decided I will part with my S. A young family means the car simply doesn't get used. It has been my pride and joy and I would love for it to go to a fellow enthusiast looking for a keeper.

For Sale - reduced to £14,650 ONO

2005 ’05 S2000 GT, in Moonrock Grey, with black & red interior, with OEM front and rear bodykit on a private plate to be included with sale. Minor interior comfort modifications.
35k miles on the clock. MOT’d in June 18 with major Honda service and all fluids changed.
Pre 2006 so in cheaper tax band. Full Service History – Serviced exclusively by Honda, except one service by specialists TGM Fleet.
Owned by me since 2007, originally a Honda demo, plus one previous owner. Garaged with a cover during my ownership. It took me a long time to find the right car in 2007 and has been a pleasure to own since. Aside from replacing the battery, I have not had any reliability issues to date. Car is ready to go with all major consumables either recently replaced or with plenty of life. Supplied with 2 original keys and fobs. Even the original (unused) ash tray is present.

Spec & Condition

GT – with hard top and stand
OEM front and (low) rear splitter
New rear pads and discs & rear right caliper, fitted in June 2018 at service.
Original fabric roof in excellent condition – treated with 303 protectant each wash. Fleece roof liner (from RobinA3) installed for added comfort and warmth.
Immaculate OEM 17” alloys refurbished in Jan 18 by Lepsons with new Michelin Pilotsport 4 tyres all round. Have done less than 150 miles.
Black & red leather seats. Wear consistent with age of the vehicle. Regularly treated with Gliptone Liquid Leather- Seats have been fitted with heating elements (from owners club group buy), switches located either side of 12v point between seats. Perfect for top down winter mornings, you wont get cold! Note these are powered directly from the battery and not piggy backed off of an interior circuit.
Steering wheel has been refurbished (via RobinA3) with red stitching to match interior.
Tonneau cover included in sale.
New 2 part Honda S2000 OEM foot mats in black (supplied by Hendy)
Modifry dash mount for phone/satnav fitted with wiring for iPhone, dashcam cable also hardwired. These are all easily removed back to OEM if desired.
Alpine Bluetooth & DAB stereo fitted with fixed, powered external DAB aerial in place of OEM which provides excellent digital and analogue signal. Microphone for handsfree calls. Also included is original OEM radio and CD player.
Upgraded front speakers and tweeters in OEM size, plus speakers fitted behind the seat headrests – very subtle and easily reversible if required. Changed as original left speaker blew in 2009.
Interior bulbs swapped for new, brighter LED bulbs.
Paintwork in excellent condition – consistent with age, no rust - Some expected stone chips to the front and bonnet, some other light drying scratches. No dings, dents or scuffs.
All important suspension geometry adjustment has been done 3 times in my ownership (Center Gravity, TGM, and most recently by Center Gravity again) to ensure all bushes and free and adjustable. Printouts included in service history.
Aside from stone chips to the front, the only minor defects are some pitting to the wheel centre caps an some minor scratches to interior plastic due to normal wear and tear.

Genuine car which has never been tracked or been in an accident. Condition and records will attest it has wanted for nothing and is a reluctant sale due to lack of use. Original Honda document wallets supplied with service book, papers and receipts.

I am based in St Albans, close to M1 & M25. Please be aware that the hardtop stand will not fit in the car, so should the buyer wish to take the stand, please allow provision to transport it home.

I do not wish to offend or disappoint, so please be prepared for a passenger ride unless verifiable proof of comprehensive insurance is provided, or full cash amount is paid to me prior to test drive.

The hardtop stand will go in the boot quite easily. I've done it!
