New owner of 04 Berlina Black
Hello Everyone,
I finally pulled the trigger on a 1 owner with 31k miles. Very clean, bone stock. I noticed one 2" crease on the drivers seat left upper bolster? ( i am not sure if that is the correct name). I understand the s2k is notorious for some seat issues. But it seems like a small price, especially when I am smiling, like most drivers do, I have noticed on the vids.
Any advice on how to care for that spot so as not to get worse, if possible? Also, I plan to do an initial service at a dealer and was curious as to what other items other than oil, tran, all fluids?
Thanks for your help and look forward to becoming part of your community.

Hi Jerry,
Congrats on your new ride! That is def a diamond in the rough that you found. I recently purchased an stock (except for a K&N intake) 04 Berlina black but with high mileage, I was able to get it for a pretty good price so I just pulled the trigger. I know that these F22 motors are extremely reliable so I was not TOO worried about it, especially considering the price point.

Congrats and welcome! Check out What to look for when buying a used S2000 / or just bought a used S2000; it's lengthy but thorough. If you tell us what part of the country you're in, we might be able to recommend a reputable trustworthy mechanic.

You are most welcome. We do have a Mid-Atlantic subforum for folks in VA, MD, and DC, but since you're so close to NC and TN (and the Dragon... I am oh so jealous!), you might also try asking around in the Carolinas and/or Tennessee subforums. Good luck!
P.S. There's also a whole subforum dedicated to events at the Dragon!
