Square wheel fitment and sway bars
I recently went square on a 17x9" wheels with 255 tires. My car rides on the standard Ohlins DFV (10/8k) and has J's roll center adjuster (RCA) up front and an eibach bar (set to stiff). The handling is much different compared to my former staggered setup. I first drove the car with the factory sway bars intact and I could immediately tell that setup was not correct. I then installed the eibach front sway bar (FSB) and the original feeling of the handling in the front came back, however the rear seems to roll too much when entering corners. I know the correct fix would be the add the rear RCA, but would the car also benefit from a stiffer rear sway bar (RSB)? I'm thinking of adding the matching eibach RSB to help tune out rear roll, in the meantime between adding the rear RCA. Will adding just the rear sway dial out the slop I'm feeling on corner entry? Any alternative suggestions on rear bars? The eibach RSB seems to be sprung quite high.
edit: the car is a model year 07

Fitting 105NM on the rear<600LB> <though a little over front 100NM rate> with my CR front arb feels great now.
would suggest increase rear spring rate before stiffer rear arb.Maybe 100/100 NM <571 LB>.

Seems as if AndrewHake suggests going square 10/10k or 12/12k and Urge recommends a matching rear sway. I guess I'll try a combination of both.

Agree on running the same rate spring front to rear, this way you can keep the rear end articulating more independent for better overall grip while getting the bennifit of less roll from the spring rate increase. I prefer not running a square tire set up on this car because i dont like being dependant on a rear wing for the car to behave in a balanced way. The car naturally favors a tire stagger. That said, 255's work great up front, I run them myself, just run wider in the rear.

One thing at a time or loose the reference point,
changed my rear springs by unscrewing the bottom fork <lots of measurements before inc droop & threads ect>
And correct pre load as needed.

I never considered swapping springs by unscrewing the bottom fork; not a half-bad idea.
