Whipple Supercharger S2000 Kit
Boost Engineering & Fab is developing and releasing a supercharger kit utilizing a Whipple 1.6L. This will me made from high quality high strength billet aluminum parts and an integrated air-to-water intercooler.
The setup is a bolt on kit to make it simple to install. A positive displacement supercharger will provide instant torque and better driving feel and response than anything else on the market. You can see more information and updates on their Facebook page and I will try to add it here as it comes up.

Two questions:
1) What is the design of the intercooler? It doesn't look that large in the picture.
2) Is 1.5L a little large for a 2L or 2.15L engine with 11+:1 compression ratio, at least on pump gas? I think Sprintex has both a 1L and 1.5L for the FT86.
If this is reliable, it would be the best-forced induction option for S2000s primarily used on the street, autocrosses, or road racing circuits.

I hope this does well. More options are always welcome however this teaser pic doesn't inspire confidence. For instance, look at the thickness of the flange the blower is bolted to. That flange looks to be holding the blower on, so it's load bearing, and it appears no thicker than 1/8". I hope this is just a positioning concept test.

Please keep in mind you are correct in the prototype of this one. Yes the production model will be all quality and strong billet components. To go along with that flange, there is a steel brace support directly under that location to support the weight of the supercharger.

Running a multi port water/meth injection system would probably yield some seriously higher safety and power benefits for this kind of system configuration in particular. If the kit doesn't come with port provisions for this in each runner, it would be the first thing id do before instillation.
