Default Oil change at honda

Booking in for oil change at honda. When using their online booking form it says tick to recalculate with specialist oil. Now I'm assuming it u book with honda they will use the correct oil for the car? I'm booking with honda basset in Bridgend.

So long as they use the correct grade (details on loads of threads all over the site) you'll be fine. Call them and ask if you're worried.

My dealer has always used the correct oil.

That's not the grade that I would have chosen, but I guess this doesn't want to turn into another which oil thread.

Out of interest, what's your reasoning for going to a main dealer?

There's no such thing. Get the exact details from them.

You can assume they will use the wrong oil and also charge a lot more for it than if you bought it yourself.
Probably going to use the wrong oil filter and not torque it correctly as well

If you're lucky, and an improvement on this, they won't do anything at all.
