Hi, I was changing my coolant and originally was trying to use the method by letting the air out from the air bleed but it got a little messy so I decided to go with the spill free funnel method. When I wasn't using the spill free funnel, the radiator fan came on, but the heater wasn't blowing hot air. Today, using the spill free funnel, the air bubbles stopped and the heater was blowing really hot air, but the radiator fan never came on. The weather was 56 degrees Fahrenheit so I'm not sure if that would be a factor. Is this something that may be an issue or I shouldn't be worried?

If it's blowing super hot air you're good lol. I'm sure the fan is fine. If it bugs you just take it for a good drive and then let it idle for a bit after it gets up to temp.

Radiator fans activated within 15 minutes at idle for me at near freezing temperatures when I last tested this. I was curious so I timed it.

If you have Torque or a similar OBD application/scanner, you can monitor the coolant temp. Per the FSM, the radiator fan should kick on when it reaches between 196 and 203F.
