Default Bama Dave inspired NEW Foothills drive

I'm just gonna fire this new drive out there which takes inspiration from Bama Dave's new foothills drive he just posted up. It includes a stop at the Look Rock viewing platform and looks to have a round trip transit time of about 3 1/2 hours. Likely a stop near Wear's Valley somewhere for a bite to eat as well.

I was checking that out a bit last year as it was clear there was a new road extension coming some time soon. I am not sure if the single lane Line Springs road is paved to cut through from Little river gorge that we normally run. Either way, more roads is good.

the little river gorge road is a beaut but horribly thick with traffic, especially as you get closer to Gatlinburg/PF. Maybe on a week day its better but I'd avoid it during on weekends.
the above drive is a little short for me but it could be a jumping off point for a longer drive...like linking into a drive up to Devil's Triangle...like this...

or like this linking to tellico plains and back by way of cherohala...

Well, there is the Cherohala drive (the usual lunch/drive the Cherohala), but other than that, you're correct.
