Default Vacation Plans 2019/2020

I put two years in because I plan well ahead of time. We loved our Avalon cruise in France so much, I want to take another one next year. Not sure if we will do that or the Mississippi River cruise I'd like to take. Here are links to both. I have been to the Netherlands, Amsterdam and the Keukenhof Gardens. But during tulip time it would be even more spectacular! And the +1 has not been.

American Cruise Lines has lots of great cruises. I'm leaning toward the Lower Mississippi. I like the new river boats they have that are similar to the boats Avalon uses.

What does y'all have planned? Or on your wish list?

The last two weeks of October we are doing a river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest. We are really looking forward to this one.

We're planning two weeks in Spain in September. Start in Madrid, head South, stop in Tangiers and Gibaltar, then up to Barcelona for the last 4 or 5 day.

OK...the +1 and I have talked about it and we are going on the Avalon cruise to the Netherlands next April. It should be amazing. Can't say enough good things about Avalon. Going to book soon to get discounts. Will most likely fly Air France to Amsterdam. We liked our Air France experience to Paris last year.

^ Booked. I chose the Tulip Time Cruise with the Garden and Nature Lover theme. Same as the regular cruise with an emphasis on gardens. So some tours geared more toward that. And of course the tulips will be the main attraction everywhere.

Kathy and I are leaving April 29 for my first trip to SCOTLAND, the land of scenery, single malts, castle ruins and likely some wet weather The first 8 days is a loop tour that hits a lot of the main attractions, with a group of 40 from our church; we know many of these folks.

Then we move to a one week cottage rental in Stirling, which is in Central Scotland. We have a small car, so I'll have fun remembering how to drive on the wrong side of the road; and how to deal with some one-lane roads with two-way traffic and lay-bys We're "on our own" for this portion, so I've been doing a lot of research on day trips that we can do....as well as spending a day in Glasgow.

We're back on May 15....in time to catch up with everything and then head to SF in Shamokin Dam.
