Uhaul car trailer

Uhaul car trailer
Hello,
just seeing if anyone had used a uhaul car trailer for their S2000? If so, how well did it work and what kind of ramps did you need on top of the ones that came with the trailer? My car is very low and am expecting to have to rig up something with 2x6’s but I have never put my car on a trailer.
fyi I am talking about a car trailer and not a car dolly.
thanks for any comments

my car is a track car so is very low and has front aero with a custom splitter. Wanted to get first hand accounts of best ways to load/unload.
I do believe it will work just fine once my car is loaded, it thanks for the comment.

Ramp angle is critical. I transported my S2000 to Richmond when we moved and the clearances were tight even in the dedicated, enclosed car trailer that was used. Your first use will probably take much experimentation of the trailer angle. Raising the trailer tongue will make the entrance ramp straighter.

I tried once and failed a few years back. My buddy has since showed me that placing the ramps on the rear wheel of the towing vehicle helps the angle of the uhaul trailer ramps and I've had no issues since. I am also lowered and track my car.

First cut 2 x 12 x 18 for where the wheels sit in the front of the uhaul trailer, or you will definitely hit on the front lip /splitter. I use a 4x4 under the trailer jack to get a little more angle. I've had no issues with my lowered S. I have a stang with a 7" front splitter. For that I made 2 x 12 x 6' ramps and that was enough.

I used one a few months ago to go back and forth to the paint booth. I backed the S on with the front bumper removed.
I snapped the bumper back on after getting it up.... reverse is probably the easiest way up
