Will the OEM Ti Knob get ridicilous hot during summer?
Hello everyone, I currently have the OEM aluminium/leather knob and would like to switch to the OEM Titanium knob.
My only concern is that the Ti knob would get quite hot during summer days?
My aluminium/leather knob is always comfortable to touch, even when the sun is burning on the car with opened roof for hours.
Thanks!

Here in Richmond along about May the jockeying for shaded parking resembles an Olympic sport.
Parked with the roof down in the summer turns my seats (and shift knob) into waffle irons. Interior is black but the "CR" shift knob is shiny metal. Since our cars really can't be effectively locked I'll frequently put the roof up and leave the windows down. At certain temperatures like the 90° days predicted this week the roof stays up and the AC runs. Or the S2000 stays tucked in the garage waiting for more temperate temperatures.

If the top is left down in the sun, then you will be too distracted by the skin peeling off the back of your thighs onto the hot seats to notice the imprint the shifter is leaving in your hand...
Its not THAT bad, but yes, it will get hot. I have used a hat before as some mentioned. Other times I have shifted by grabbing the leather boot below the knob until the knob cools.
