Posted a few pics on FB, one of which I posted in the weekend thread. Here's that one again, along with another one Patricia said I should post here. Walking near the water, on a little island accessible at low tide. Was surprised to happen upon a snowy owl! She's been seen in the area. It may very well be the one I saw a couple of months ago, as it's in the same vicinity. Bird in flight taken with the spray and pray method of photography. I had a high shutter speed set, and auto ISO, no time to mess with settings. Did edit a bit, but pics are a bit grainy.

Love rainbows. I've only captured a few.
Here's one from our recent outing to the Zoo in NY and Magic Wings in MA

Nice catch, Deb! I’m surprised that the rainbows didn’t end a bit to the north…There’s were the pots of gold reside.

Actually, the other end of the main one did... We get them frequently. Any time the sun is setting in the west after a rainstorm. Not doubles every time, though.

Beautiful Deb. One of my retirement goals was to grab some sunrise photos. I wanted to wait until sunrise was a bit later as I'm not a fan of 5:00 AM. BUT I missed my opportunity. This week the timing would have been great, (before we move the clocks), but the weather is too cloudy for sunrise photos...OK, another time.
Meanwhile today, while out and about I caught the Osprey sharing space with a Great Blue Heron. Never seen that before, so that was cool in my world. The foliage added to the pic. Photo grabbed off FB...resolution may be lacking...

An amazing photo, Lainey! Both the the foliage colors and bird combo are amazing! Looks as though the Great Blue Heron may be recovering from an injured neck.
