Default Anne Marie has a hernia.

The paramedics came and got her and she spent most of the day in Emergency. A CAT scan revealed the hernia. She needs surgery. She has an appointment with a USC/Keck surgeon. We have three days of the Long Beach Grand Prix this weekend. :Lots of walking and climbing up grandstands. We're just going to take it easy and see how it goes..

There are many forms of hernias.
Some are an outpatient tweak and some put you down for a few weeks.

I wish her well with a speedy recovery. Good luck at the race.

George, Anne Marie must have been in pain to have paramedics take her to the ER. I would think the LBGP would be out of the question.

My mom's hernia was diagnosed about 20 years ago and it didn't seem to matter... until last week! Hope Anne Marie's gets closed up and resolved quickly.

Lucky you. I know people can have lots of pain with surgery. The location and size of repairs must make a difference.
