A Google/Microsoft problem.
I am having a Google/Microsoft problem and am wondering if anyone is having the same problem. Has anyone found the solution?
For years I have been using Microsoft Outlook as my e-Mail client but all of my e-mail accounts (5 accounts) are gmail accounts. For a number of years this wasn't a problem. My Outlook would syncronize with Google and I could get and real all of my e-mails in Outlook. I happen to prefer the Outlook layout and the reading pane and have grown used to it over the years. About a month ago my two main e-mail accounts stopped syncronizing with Outlook inorder to real the e-mail I had to log onto Chrome and go through the G-Mail link. The message I get in Outlook is "Outlook cannot synchronize unsubscribed folders. Cannot connect to the server". Remarkably this only happens with two of my 5 e-mail accounts, but unfortunately they are the most important ones. I've Googled the solution and have gotten a number of different answers, none of which seem to work. I've spent hours trying to resolve the problem but so far I've been unsuccessful. I think I need to find a way to allow Outlook to connect to the Google server.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to resolve it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Note all the information that exists in the Accounts/Tools/Account. Personally, after that, I'd simply delete the accounts that are giving you problems and then recreate them, but that's what I'd do. What versino of Outlook are you running? I run Version 16.109 (26041512) on my Macs and Versions 1.2026.403.100 on my Windows 11 virtual machines. Have you done an update? Strangely enough, sometimes updates mess up more than they fix. I do beta testing for both Apple and MS so my versions are different from yours but (as far as I know) there have been no additions to the account structure for some time.
