Default A/C stopped working.

Of course, on one of the hotter days out here.

The A/C radiator fan kept running the whole time.

It ended up being two 40-amp fuses. And they are not blown. A little bit of Deoxit D100L on the connectors, and all has been copaceit, ever since.

That Deoxit is the best thing since sliced bread.

Where's the best place to buy it, Amazon? Sounds like something to keep in the shop for preventative maintenance.

The D100L is good for all electrical connections.

You only need to use a very little. Sometimes working the connection a couple of times helps remove the oxidation and work the Deoxit's lubricant into the metal.

Drove the car around this morning, turning the A/C on and off. So far, so good.

Of course, that is what the man said as he passed the 10th floor after jumping off a 20-story building.

I've owned my 2004 S since new. Other than tires and fluids, the only part I've ever had to replace was the AC compressor last summer. No complaints.

Just as a follow-up. It's been a little over a week. No problems with the A/C.

Deoxit to the rescue!
