I was on holidays in Tennessee one year with my family , and we asked a hotel maid how to find our room (room #420 in a three-floor building ?). After she told us how to find the room she turned to her fellow workers and asked them if they knew what language we were speaking, lol. She had a super-strong southern accent and she thought we spoke a different kind of English being from Canada, lol,

Lol I was just having lunch with friends and we were talking about this as we were having north shore 3 ways ( Google it if you don’t know what it is kid) my cousins from Pennsylvania got lost coming to visit us in R.I., my mother asked if they knew what town they were in and they said Worchester in Mass. so then my Mother was hysterical laughing and said you mean WooostA!
