Here in Myrtle Beach the price has quietly dropped to $2.97/gal.and falling daily. What is the price in your area?

Here in Pittsburgh we have $2.95. My question is - when oil was at this "bargain" price per barrel earlier why were we paying $1.95 a gallon?

Yes, the current price of a barrel of oil is not far from where it was last year at this time, yet we are still paying .50-.75 more /gallon of gas. What's wrong with this picture?

Our gas is around $2.96/gallon. It dropped twice this weekend.

Home heating oil is now $2.62/gallon, I paid $3.78 when I topped off my tank in June.

Hopefully, the prices will continue to fall before I really start using oil. $2.62 is still too much money for home heating oil.

Paid $2.859 for 93 octane last night in Milford, Oh (Cincinnati). That's about 10 to 15 cents below the high end of the market, though. This was at a Mobil station.

It's 3.49 here, regular. And I can be at the refinery in 30 minutes. It's cheaper in Wichita, Kansas, about 2 days drive to the nearest refinery. WTF?

I'd guess your local & state taxes per gallon are higher than Kansas (plus I'd also guess that your local gas station has higher overhead than a gas station in KS (IE: cost of land/building/salaries etc).

Still at $3.22 for regular here. Some places are still in the $3.30's.
