I've only had OEM, AEM V2 and now Icebox. IMO the CT looks way better than the K&N. As for sound, I can't comment because my exhaust is loud but overall I'm happy. But hearing from my friends who owns a CT with stock exhaust, it sounds awesome.

I have the KN and its pretty nice, but its also pretty loud! Its not very noticable if you are not on throttle but when you do get on it. It screams! I have heard the CT is a bit quieter if thats what you are looking for!

K&N if those are the 2 choices. i think the CT-Engineering intake is about $100-$120 more than a K&N, and i don't think its worth the additional price

Thanks guys ! still debating on which one right now the poll is 50/50. but it sounds like the K&N is the best bang for your buck !
But I read somewhere that I would need to drill into it since I own a 06 which has a IAT sensor on the stock airbox correct ?

I think for the KN you do. I saw the instructions saying that but drilling shouldn't be that big of an issue. If you do go k&n there's a bunch of sellers on eBay selling it for around 200 new.

There's sooo many threads with this same exact title..

Buy whichever one you can get for the best price.. Which is normally the K&N, and it's better anyways..

I was in the same boat and went for the CT icebox. The k&n is louder and cheaper but the CT sounds good too, performs well and looks way nicer.
Its good all around.
