Default Rear of the year

Well, like a few of the posters of late i've decided the S needs some tlc.

Many moons ago she had a damaged boot and the back end was painted poorly, the paint started to bubble very slowly over a long time, i'm talking years here! it started on the boot then spread to the rear quarters

then i had a coming together with a neighbour as we both reversed off our drives, mine is steep so i cant see anything but road behind me until i'm off the drive, this resulted in a nasty star shaped crack on the bumper which i didnt do anything with.

Then someone gave a good review of a bodyshop in Nottm - Alan Perry

So i took here there and got booked in. There was some arch rust on the lips which occurred before i removed those evils rubbers so he sorted that at the same time. Here's the result:

Delighted with it. Next stop - Coilovers and bushes i think...

Funny a few tips on the boot spoiler as i started a thread on that a while back and a load of peeps were pleased with their ebay specials. Currently i would find it tough to sticky tape over the new paint! Ha ha

At the time i was considering what next with cars as our family wagon is fecked but i've since decided on a few £k to tidy the S and an E90 M3 so the search for the latter has just started in its infancy. The M3 can live outside as my garage is full.

Saz yep, original hood but its always been garaged which helps a bit i think...

Plastic - i used your recommendation i think, is it a yellow car?

Yeah, I have the yellow one. They did a great job with the colour matching.
