BTW...would you mind terribly making the font size for quoted text normal size? Unbolded is not a bad thing, but making it smaller can make it rather difficult to read and can also change the context of the text somewhat if people used different sized fonts in their post for emphasis. Just a thought...

the small was just an idea
if the user specifices a font size in the post, the same fonts would be seen in the quote

I'll put it back to normal for right now.

Good idea's aren't my department. :p

Don't look at me, I'm just a moderator. I don't come up with ideas, I just tell other people what they aren't doing right... ;)

I like small font in the quote :)

I don't mind the font changes and all, but I really don't like the changing of the img to url when quoting. Odds are, if I'm quoting a picture and am going to be posting about it, I would want anyone who reads my post to know exactly what I'm talking about without having to open another window with the picture in it.

For example...
---------------------------------------------------------------
Very nice
---------------------------------------------------------------
Very nice
---------------------------------------------------------------

If the quoted post was 25 posts back and on a different page, nobody will have any idea what I'm replying to without opening another window... whereas the latter it's perfectly clear.

Also, from a bandwidth and system resource standpoint, opening another window and pulling the entire imageview page would be much more intensive than just leaving the inline image in place - would it not?

Thanks.

if the user insists on quoting the image they can manually change the [ url ] tags in the quote to [ img ].
