Feature Requests
 

1) I really like thread preview and would like to see it here. I suspect it takes more processing power, and bandwidth... but if it can happen, I'd like to see it.

2) I'd like for threads that I have previously posted a reply in to have a special marker. It makes it easier to know which threads I need to check in on, in order to see if someone has replied to my reply. I know this can be done from the "MyS2K" page, but I'd like to see it in the thread listings, as well.

Hope these features can be added.

Both of these things take way too much horsepower than we have available :(

I think they are both great ideas but the price for doing it is too high right now. These are both features I would also like. I will see what can be done but it may not be possible.

K. I didn't think about the 2nd one taking that much power, but I guess from a DB munching perspective it would.

Hopefully someday they'll be feasible.

The second one is actually the worst of the two. It means scanning every topic on the page to see if you posted in it. The first one can be done easier than the first as a popup panel which goes out and grabs the first post after the page has loaded and on demand. It's not a standard feature however.

1. There is a button to preview a post before you post it. It's to the right of submit post. (Not there for quick post, but it's there on ADD REPLY.)

2. If you use "MyS2k" it shows you all the currently active threads that you have posted in, no matter how long ago you have posted in them. It cuts accross the entire site. I usually hit that first check all the threads in a particular forum. Then check all the new threads in that forum, then go back to MyS2k and repeat as needed. Works great.
