I applied a bug fix upgrade to the gallery this morning and, as seems to be par for the course these days, the gallery is completely fubar because the upgrade scripts failed somewhere in the middle leaving the gallery in limbo somewhere between versions 4.0.2 and 4.0.3. Another quick and easy upgrade from the fine folks at IPS.

I opened another emergency service ticket with them and I'm hoping they get it repaired later today. The gallery is broken until then.

 

yeah I noticed the order in which all my images are stored just reversed itself...

 

I fixed the upgrade script fail issue myself but the gallery still has major issues with running out of memory. It is still broken until they come and fix.

 

I guess that explains the "no permission" images in sigs.

 

^ that is a hack I made to allow viewing images in private albums which needs to be reapplied each time I patch the software. It is done now and you shouldn't see any of those anymore.

 

I still seem them. Everywhere lol

Something else I've seen, that I'm sure you're already aware of...the gallery does not have albums anymore. All the pictures are at one level
no longer sorted into their folders.

 

I reiterate my previous post with fingers crossed that what you are seeing is just a phase...
