Only members are allowed to post new topics in For Sale and what you are selling must be used or at least not for resale. It is for second-hand goods only. Only members are allowed to post topics to reduce the number of fly-by-night sellers.

Anyone can post a reply.

Clarify this for me, can guests sell in their local forums, or just not in the "For Sale" forum?

Individual communities can make that decision for themselves. The answer is yes and no. Some yes, some no. It's not something we at s2ki decide. Ask your COs.
