This is on both my Iphone and Ipad. Both of which never had any issues before a wk ago. Kinda glad to hear I'm not the only one which tells me its not my phone or ipad. Also, have tried on both my 4G LTE and home wifi but still the same either way. This is both signed in and not. Not sure if its relevant.

Thank you for all the feedback so far. Anyone having this issue on a non-iOS device?

Firefox, desktop - images are slow(ish) to load, but I'm fairly certain that's my connection and not the site as it happens on google as well.

Sorry for the image loading trouble, everyone. A few weeks back, we implemented a new method for image loading called "lazy loading." Images will appeared blurred at first to allow for the page to load faster, but as soon as the higher resolution is downloaded, they should automatically switch over. On slower connections, this can take a bit longer.

If you're experiencing the issue to the point that the image doesn't "up-res" at any point, there could be a technical glitch on our end. The next time an image doesn't load for you, can you please open a separate tab, go to Fast.com or SpeedTest.net, and post here with the speed test result? This can help us isolate at what speeds the image(s) may hang, as well as optimize for slower connections.

Thanks!

Firefox on a desktop. Pics load blurry but clear up in a second or less. . Just started to happen a few days ago. I too though it was just my Comcast connection.

For those of you still experiencing the issue, can you please let us know if you have javascript and/or any ad blockers enabled or disabled in your browser? If javascript specifically is enabled, did you receive any sort of error message when the images weren't loading? Please also let us know the specific version number of your browser and your OS (i.e. Windows, Mac, iOS, Android) as this will help us better recreate your exact experience.

Thanks!

We've been having discussions on that very topic in office these past couple days and are looking at a few different options. I'll keep you guys posted.
