I believe this issue stems from how the thread is edited. If you click the "Edit" button at the bottom of the first post, it will only edit the content of the post and keep the thread-level title and icon the same. However, if you see an option to edit the thread in the "Thread Tools" drop-down, you can use that to change the title and icon at a thread level. It's admittedly an odd vB quirk, so I went ahead and just made the adjustment for you.
Still seeing multiple signatures on the UK section as seen in this current thread ...

Nope, been there, done that. I've had (way too much) experience with this version of vBulletin and it has serious bugs. Guess I'll just wait until vBulletin rev 30 before I try again.

It seems this "new" site is just like the other IB owned sites with some very subtle changes. Not impressed frankly.

Can we please have a toggle to switch back to the original.

That would ROCK!

I have to agree that not showing PMs as conversations is a real drag. Did a conversation count as one PM (however long) before and now each part of a conversation counts as one PM? If so, I can see why people are not happy. That triples/quadruples/etc the number of PMs.

Also, as someone else posted previously, I just sent a PM which has not shown up in my Sent folder. Is there an I/O lag or is this a bug?

P.S. There was no indication that the PM was sent.

PM is currently the worst way to communicate in exitistence. Communication for many of us here is everything. Hopefully something can be done to make it at least manageable. Finding one single comment that was made a week or two ago, to make the current message make any sense as all, has been near impossible.

PM's still suck.

Is there a way to put a resize setting on pictures once you post like the old forum?

Is there any way to see which topics I have replied to whilst scrolling through the 'new posts'? Ordinarily there's some sort of indicator so you notice as you scroll through. Right now it feels like it's pot luck having to remember which threads I've replied to as I scroll through.

I tried editing individual posts in my CT Garage sale thread. It was in the first post that it said there were too many characters and too many pics for it to save after editing.
