I get a message saying that I have exceeded my space allocation.
The little gauge on the left says I have used 177% of my allocated space and therefore I can't u pload anymore.

I 'only' have 200 odd pic there and most are between 500k and 1MB.

I don't want to delete half of them (which currently is a very slow process) just to post the two new pics I have.


What's wantone going to do with his 1200 pics???

 

As members, I thought we got unlimited space for pics??

 

I'm sure the gallery is still a work in progress as of now. The board still hasnt fully come up to speed with the new change over, so I'd say give it a few more days til it's done. Until then I can see about hosting them on my photo album if you need them now. I doubt I've used my allocated size

 

Well there is no such thing as "unlimited". There is the space we have and we don't or at least haven't said "you have x amount of it". Some use more, some less. However with v4 we have added some caps to better manage the space we have available. It is finite. When you go to Your Albums it will tell you how much space you are using in total. How much is that? The limits are currently set at 1GB for Members, 4GB for Gold Members. We will adjust these caps from time to time as space permits.
