My browser doesn't seem see the red folders all the time. Most of the time my folder icons are yellow whether they have new posts in them or not. Sometimes they appear red but they don't seem to turn yellow after the thread has been read.

I'm I crazy or is this something that other people have noticed also?

 

The floders only change when you log in. The determination about whether it is red or yellow is based on the last time you logged in not the last time you viewed the page. Please don't ask me to define logging in, I haven't got a clue. It's one of the great mysteries that is UBB.
