It would be useful if we could pick more than one forum to search. Now it is one or all when many times it is just 2 or 3 that may have the thread.

Huh? What if I just want to search Car Topics and Parts. I don't see how to select just two forums.

huh is right.. when I click search it says

"Search All Open Forums and Archives"
