Despite our tragic loss of Mr. EG, there does seem to be an upside to losing our dear friend: his archnemesis has been vanquished and we no longer have to look at his Napoleon Complex avatar nor posts. Rejoice, Car Talk!

Really? What was the catalyst?

To be honest, even though his avatar/sig was ridiculous, and he was _obsessed_ with [his] Asian ethnicity, he was pretty mild as kooks on this board go (especially recently since his activity had kind of dropped off).

 

And starting a topic like this is the mature thing to do and doesnt make you look just as bad as he does.

I'd rather have both than neither.

For better (and worse at times), EG and Steponme were regular contributors to a board that is still trying to get it's groove back since the site redesign. I feel like it was on it's way, but banning prolific posters won't really help the problem.

I loved their battles. It is pretty easy to spot the contentious posters, so I just refrain from making reference to them.
