Subscription and Email notification problems
 

In V3 we had the idea of having favorite forums that would show up under MYS2K. I really liked this as I could use it as a start page without having to navigate to different forums through the full list.

I'm mimmicking this with Forum Subscriptions. But, the problem is it's a subscription, so I receive tons of mail for each post in the forum.

Is there any plans at some point to add a favorites feature again for forums, and have them show up in the MYS2K? I'm not asking for it tomorrow just maybe some time.

i read the top post... cant find it in my settings... but im getting like 20 emails a day with these notices...

I could subscribe the forum to MyS2k before without these email notifications... how do i stop them aside from changing my email to another one?

I posted about this a week or so ago...anxiously awaiting a fix for it myself. Killing off an average of 40 emails a day.

Eh, it'll be fixed eventually, I'm sure...

I get e-mails for threads I've never even read... :LOL:

That is subscription, but afaik the mails problem is still not fixed within it. It seems it doesn not differentiate in the software between subscription and email notification.

Threads you post in will automatically appear in mys2k without requiring a subscription. HTH for now

Unsubscribe from the forums, until the email notification is changed.

How can I unsubscribe from a thread I'm not subscribed to in the first place?

How do you get the thread off My S2K? There are the boxes to check next to them but how do you remove them?

Also....are the e-mails gonna get detailed for the title to show what thread it's from (like how it used to be)? Now it shows:

Before it was: "Reply to Post: "Blah blah blah" or something along those lines. Much easire then having to open the e-mail to read what thread it's from.

Do you have it turned on for posting the reply in the e-mail notification? Maybe the content of the reply will make the e-mail be blocked. I'd turn that off then :D
