I guess no one ever reads the Note: Howto use Search Discussion thread, because I posted this question there two days ago and still no answer.

My question is: Is the "Topic Description" field indexed the same as the "Topic Title"? If I do a "titles only" search, will it find words in the "Topic Description" field or must I do a "entire post" search to look at the "Topic Description" field? Or maybe that field is not even indexed?

 

Topic description is not indexed. It's either title or body as it's written.
