Tracker
I am picking up the "double click" tracking program when I log on here. As much as this site and it's members is proving helpful, if that's the "price" to visiting it, I am outta here.
Double Click tries to track everything you do on the Internet. As far as I know this site does not have a contract with Doubleclick for gathering information so the chances are you're just being subjected to the same underhanded tactics Doubleclick uses all over the Internet.
Yeah I use spybot. Been picking up double click lately and finally decided to run spybot after every site I regularly go to lately to track down where i catch it. This allowed me to determine I am picking it up here. Worst part is spy bot needs a reboot to get rid of it now.
In any case, it's here I am getting it.
To clarify ausura, double click is a spyware, and you need to visit a site that carries it to pick it up. It then tracks you and can pick up log ons and passwords and alot of other crap.

To the moderators, sorry to have posted in wrong forum, didn't know where to post this.
Also, dunno if you guys are aware of this issue, if you aren't please look into it.
This site has provided invaluable info, the members are very friendly and I was about to pay for membership as I am taking delivery of my S2 next week.
However this spyware is really turning me off. Double click is a particularly nasty one as far as I can find out.

Just set your browser to not accept cookies from doubleclick.net. You'll never have to deal with it again.
BTW, it's not accurate to call it spyware as there's no application downloaded to your computer. Doubleclick does everything with their tracking cookies. No doubleclick cookies, no problem
