Why is it so dirty and faded looking? Clean it up and I will be very interested... was this neochrome dipped or painted?

That's the way I received it from the previous owner. I've had it for two years like that and looks way better when installed

This process is done through electro plating. This isn't going to just wipe off most likely guys. OP would you mind putting some cleaner on it and wiping it down for us interested buyers? I am pretty sure whats done is done though guys. It will most likely need re plated to look like new again.

Yeah that's the way the finish is on mine,I have it cleaned currently, doesn't look bad when mounted though
