I like it. I like it a lot. Now the base model on its all season tires won't get to sixty in under three seconds but 3.2 is likely fast enough for me.
So, it is very fast, quite good looking, boasts cutting edge engineering and very good ergonomics, and looks to be a screaming deal. The big question is, will it be more reliable than past models. Car and Driver did a long term test (40K miles) on a C7 and it spent almost as much time in the shop as it did on the road. Other reviewers note similar experiences.

Terrific vehicle in every respect, and will be strongly considering the C8.

I talked with a car buddy who likes his toys.
He bemoaned the absence of a stick.
I get it, it's the process of driving., Like sliding the bolt of a rifle, or grinding beans for your coffee.
But tehn I told him i traded my stick for a DCT.
I moght have to go drive one when they are available.
of course there will be the asinine dealers who want double sticker for early models etc.

Never thought I would say this but cars are getting to fast for the street. I had a crotch rocket in the late 80’s that did 0-60 in 3.3 and that was insanely fast things happen really quickly.
