Valarie Harper-Rhoda-dies at the age of 80

Everybody I knew who owned a TV in the 1970s was in love with Rhoda Morgenstern. Mary Tyler Moore was the star, but everybody loved Rhoda. Valerie Harper was the perfect Rhoda. Valerie Harper was Rhoda in every way. A beautiful woman, a fine comedian and a great actress.

Valerie battled cancer in 2009 and survived, but her death might have been the result of a reoccurrence of the cancer. Valerie was 80 when she passed away.

Valerie Harper, thank you for the great TV and all the laughs. Rest in peace.

What a trooper, she out-lived her initial prognosis but a very long time. Even after her initial diagnosis she was very positive and lived a great life.
