Elijah Cummings dies at the age of 68
Elijah Cummings, powerful member of the House of Representatives from Baltimore died at the age of 68. A strong and dedicated leader, Mr. Cummings will be missed. He was a giant of a man.
“He worked until his last breath because he believed our democracy was the highest and best expression of our collective humanity and that our nation’s diversity was our promise, not our problem,” said Ms. Cummings, his wife, who chairs the Maryland Democratic Party.

Elijah Cummings was an exemplary congressman for years. Bipartisan, fair, empathetic, energetic, humane, and kind. He will very much be missed. If there are/were angels, as he believed, he is dancing with them...
