Look in the movie thread.... Discussion and review of Good Movies. We've been discussing it there.

Can't tell you or remember the last time we went to the movies, but maybe we'll catch the senior special and check this movie out on afternoon soon.

I'm meeting some friends for lunch and this movie today. I'll report back. I'm interested to see if they mention contributors like Pete Brock, Phil Remington, Billy Crouse and John Collins. I'm assuming that Bondurant and Gurney will be shown driving the Daytona at LeMans.

I'll be back.

+1 Chris and I went to see Ford v Ferrari at the Cinemark in Towson, MD yesterday with Billy and Diane. We all throughly enjoyed the movie! It was emotional at times (both funny and sad), and largely historical. I just noticed that, wanting to pit the American manufacturer against the Italians - and Henry II against Enzo - they didn't mention the UK connection and role in the creation of the GT40 in 1964 and 1965, as against the 66, 67 cars. The Ken Miles role and Shelby's role were well done, and the racing was loud and entertaining. The internal friction within the Ford organization was presented forcefully. Great drama!

How does it compare to the hostorical documentary movie made 3 years ago? Hollywood always cocks up a good real true story and they try to rewrite real history to make it 'better' according to Hollywood movie standards.
