Default seperation anxiety

i just something I have never done before. I dropped my car at a storage facility for the winter.
In the past it has always been at home in the garage.
Now I need to buy an indoor cover for the winter.

We've never stored off our property, but I always feel sad when the car gets covered. It's January, it's only a few months....

Come on, Blue! There's a rat in the middle of separation.

I went through that when I had three cars and I had to store one 90 miles away. Some people don’t get it but I totally feel your pain Jerry.

I store mine remotely every winter. But, the remote storage is 1.7 miles away. It's owned by a friend and I have a key. Wellness checks are frequent mostly because my friend and I have a table and a small refer full of IPA for these wellness visits. Wellness by any other name?

I know, it's only 8.2 miles away... sniff, sniff... but what if it gets cold or scared....
Iordered a car cover this afternoon.

on the upside i get to park the GL550 in the garage. no more brushing off snow.
I really need to talk my bride into building a garage.( well another one anyways.)

I miss my NSX and Crosstour. They are 1,100 miles away. My Pilot does nothing for me, driving-wise. I'd much rather drive my Crosstour for a daily but it's only 2 WD.

Oh, and it's separation.

I'm currently going through separation anxiety. My S is at the paint shop having work done. It has been over two weeks and I'm going nuts!

Do you think it would be too much to send it a "Thinking of You" card? Possibly a "Get Wel Soonl" card?

See how upset I am? I can't even spell anymore....

I bought a cover for it, but I need to pick up some spot detailer.
Got salt and sand on it bringing it over. No sense grinding it in.

My S has been in the shop since August. Maybe I'll do a thread to explain after the holidays.
