The air waves will be a bit quieter, and the world a little less interesting.

 

A few decades ago I used to listen to him in morning while getting ready for work. He had a sharp tongue and was often the opposite of politically correct. RIP Don.

 

A racist being celebrated is such a strange thing to me.

 

I'm sure he was and his remarks are what he will be remembered for. I enjoyed his show when he had political guests. He provided an relaxed atmosphere and that was my first intro to John McCain, a man I hold in high respect.

 

Plenty to celebrate along with much to be abhorred. No person is just one thing, good or bad.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

I didn't care for him. I remember his comments about the women's basketball team causing a big stir. I knew he was all done. I don't know if he made other comments like that on the air. I almost never listened to him.

 

There is an interesting attraction, even admiration, by some to individuals who dare say things we were raised never to say.

in reality I think it is simply providing absolution from inner conflict of should or shouldn't I be thinking that.
