Mac & Cheese - Love it, hate it, it's just OK?
Mac & Cheese has made it's way onto many menus. Have I raised this topic before? Hope not. Originally a staple on the kiddie menu, it seems mac & cheese is everywhere. All sorts variations and toppings, from lobster and more.
I must admit, I'm not a mac & cheese fan. It's just something that doesn't tempt me. I love pasta with a good marinara sauce, with a scampi sauce, with veggies, but mac & cheese isn't on my radar. A few weeks ago I ordered some as a side dish and after a few bites I was done. It doesn't fall into the "calorie worthy" category; not a real fan of rich sauces like alfredo, either. I guess given my love of chocolate, it's a good thing that tomato based sauces tempt me more than sauces with lots of cheese, heavy cream, etc.
So is mac and cheese on your menu, or do you just keep a box of it around for the grandkids?

I love it! Years ago I ate it with bread, butter and jelly, but now just with a vegetable. Usually get the Kraft M & C in a box. I could eat it all day long.
No my veins are pretty clear, thank you.
