Made a visit to St. Thomas dragway in my 04S
Hey all,
Just a quick note - I took my first trip to a drag strip this weekend. Although I think the S is probably better suited to AutoX or something with more turns than straight lines, I thought I would go with my two buddies who were testing out the Mustang and the modded Maxima. I wasn't expecting too much from the S - I was hoping for fast, but I wasn't even sure what fast was on the quarter. My first run without a burnout was 14.22s!!! Not bad for a bone stock car!
My buddy with the Mustang was impressed, especially since I had him up until the 1/8th when he started pulling.
I took a few more runs after that, but was unable to duplicate the first race - inexperienced driver at the helm!!
Anyway, still loads of fun I'm going to look for other 1/4 mile times to check and see how my 04 S stacks up!!
