Default Steelers win

Talk about pulling a game out of your butt. I can't believe it. 4 seconds to go in regulation time and everyone had the Jets in the winning column. Unreal. When he missed that second field goal they probably heard me scream in Canada.

Being a native New Yorker and a long time Jets fan I had complete confidence in my team. I knew that they wouldn't let me down. I was sure that they would find a way to lose the game. Once again they have lived up to my expectations.

With that view, you could be a Detroit Lions fan also. Boy, that had to be a tough, tough loss for Jet's fans.

Dave

When you root for the Mets, the Jets and the Nets, you have to have that point of view.

I feel the same way about my beloved Cubs, the Bears, and the Bulls (although I don't follow basketball).

I still have hopes for the Cubs. Of course, I've had hopes for them for 40 years now...

As far as the Bears go, well, as long as that rotten SOB McCaskey is in charge things will only continue to get worse.

The Steelheads proved to me that they don't have the skill to go all the way. They should have lost. I hate kickers. Idiots.

I can't blame Brien. Neither attempt was easy and on the second, the Jets didn't even attempt to get closer.

I blame the Offense which managed to score a total of 3 points.

And Rob, I agree with you, there is always something bad that will happen to prevent them from winning.

I wouldn't dismiss the Steelers so quickly. It was not the QB's shinning hour but even Hot Shot Rookies are entitled to a bad day. It was a squeaker for sure but it still goes in the Win column and they keep the roll going.
