Just before Christmas my step-son and his wife announced that they were gonna have another baby in 05. Last Friday my youngest daughter called and said that she is also pregnant . Between my wife and I we will then have a grand total of 9. We our grand kids and enjoy having them around as much as possible! 's everywhere.

We only have one, and don't expect any bumper crop of grandkids. We the one we have. She makes us with every visit. Grandkids truly are the reward for dealing with those teenage years with our own!

What do they call you, Sam?

 

I'm "Pa Pa" . Carmen gets mad cause the kids can say Pa Pa faster than Grandma. With the last one, two years ago, I was holding her (6 weeks old then), and very seriously I said to my wife listen she is saying Pa Pa already , boy did she get !

Not many things in life can bring as much joy as grandkids I'm finding, especially when they're little. Sounds like you've got a whole bunch of joy. Enjoy! Congrats, Sam - that's a houseful at Christmas time - do they all live near you? Two of mine are in California (the one I'm closest to lives in Cali ) and three live here (don't see them just a ton...busy parents...heck - busy grandparents!). It's always fun to spend time with them....and always ready to turn them back over to their parents
