I just heard on the radio that someone found 5 million in unmarked cash and they turned it in. Would you do the same?

That guy was originally from our neck of the woods. He never opened the bank bag. He just returned it. We raise them with good values here!

I just read a report of a single working women in England who just won 8.8 million pounds. She has been raising a son who is now ready to get a driver's license. His first comment to reporters.... Now I can buy the S2000 I dreamed of.

I hope he at least got a good finders reward for turning it all in.

I thought that way at first too but then thinking more about it you would be better off keeping the whole thing. Whoever lost the 5 million dollars knows the full amount that should be there so if you return an amount less than that you will be the number one suspect and will have a hard time spending the money you kept unless you spend it in very small increments and plans like that never seem to work out. If you don't return any of it then no one will know you have it. Personally I would turn it in.

If it was in a bank bag, it probably came from a bank or armored car and I would turn it in. But if it looked like drug money, I would strongly consider keeping it. It would have to be one of the two, to be in cash. Depends on where I found it, too.

I'd probably keep it either way. If it's bank money, it's insured. If it's drug money, who cares?

I wouldn't tell anyone about it. I'd find a way to get it out of the country and put it in a bank in Lichtenstein. Then I'd have them issue me a debit card and access the cash that way. Statements would be sent to a lawyer in another country.

But dammit, the Lamborghini Murcielago parked next to my s2k might give the game away...
