Default What are you having for lunch today at work?

I am just wondering what people are eating or where? Lunch is a main meal in most cultures, I think or at least in some. I thought it would be interesting to find out what we all eat for lunch. Do you all look forward to eating lunch or is it simply another task that must be done.

Lunch is food, food is fun!
I have a Fantastic brand corn and potato chowder to nuke up and a sandwich. My wife made it last night while I was out and after she went to the gym so I'm guessing cheese or tuna.
Buying lunch usually means run to Subway or if friends are coming downtown, a walk over to Hooters for the hotest Buffalo shrimp they make with a side of fries.

I've been working at the same company for over ten years. Despite the area reportedly having more restaurants per squre mile than any other place in the country, the co-workers and I can never figure out where to eat until we're already in a car, driving off company property. After a while, you've been to the same places over and over and over and nothing's very special anymore. Oh, and we never eat at the company cafe if we can help it.

But on days like today - sunny and 70 degrees, it's just nice to get outside for a while.

A low-fat frozen banana and yogurt smoothie. I'd RATHER be having something with a ton of pasta and Italian bread...or rice....or cake....but I'm trying to be good.

Probably be having the chicken tenders and fries in the company cafe. I feel like such a pig...... NOT. The Diet Coke will remove all guilt.

I went to the cafeteria and decided to go with pizza as I didn't see anything I liked. You can't go wrong with pizza. I mean it is really difficult to ruin a pizza. It has all three food groups: cheeze, bread, vegetables, and meat.

Ooooh. We rarely have pizza. The pizza oven is small and they can only make so much. Don't forget the most important group. The grease group.

Oh NOOOOOO. I'm posting in Vintage. Does that make me a geezer? Is Perky going to slap me with a badge? The gray hair is premature ... I swear.... I've had it since I was 16. OK so that was 29 years ago. I'm so ashamed.
